Naples fishing is starting to get really good with tarpon, snook, redfish and trout being the primary focus. Pilchards can be found along the beaches and also mullet in the back bays. I've found my best action to be in the afternoon when the tide has a chance to fill in for redfish and snook. It is not uncommon for us to see sharks cruising around as well. Tarpon are starting to show up in small numbers as they migrate up the coast but with this weeks weather look for fishing to improve quickly. There are some smaller resident tarpon 15-30lbs that like to hang out tucked under the mangrove shorelines.
Below are a few photos from this past weekend where Luca Musico won his division catching snook redfish and trout during a local tournament on my boat. Have a great rest of the week! Capt. Joey Benko
