![]() Irma has really impacted the SWFL area creating some of the best fishing we have seen in years. Redfish have been plentiful with these fish running in the 20-34 inch range. Snook have also been all over the beaches and passes with some of the best fishing coming early during the tide changes. Stay close to the passes fishing nearshore bays due to all the amount of fresh water that has changed the salinity in the backcountry. Baits of choice have been pilchards and cut ladyfish. I have also had some luck using decent size finger mullet. Pompano have also been cruising up and down the beaches I highly recommend always carrying a pink Jackmack Jig (Found at Mikes Bait House) tipped with shrimp is a deadly combo.
